September 29, 2020 By Staff Writer Leave a Comment

The Swedish company has now launched a new type of meatball that will help reduce the damage to the planet, not overnight, but in the next ten years or so. The planet will be greener with the invention of these new meatballs, that are not made of out meat, they are made out of plants. The idea company has been trying to preserve the planet in other ways, and now they are planning to roll out with this type of food as well.

Key Takeaways:

  • In addition to furniture, IKEA is also famous for its meatballs.
  • The Swedish company is working to reduce its environmental footprint and be climate positive by 2030.
  • When served with mashed potatoes, lingonberries and cream sauce, the plant ball dish won’t be vegan.

“Made using yellow pea protein, oats, potatoes, onion and apple, IKEA is confident that the plant balls offer the same taste, look and texture as the non-vegan version.”
